Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor from the United States. Her birth date was June 13, 1962. In 1983, following her film debut Bad Boys, Sheedy became one of the Brat pack of actors. She appeared in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) and WarGames. In recognition of her role on Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Leading Actress. Ally Sheedy has been an American actor and author for over 20 years. Her film career began early in the 1980s with the crime-drama film Bad Boys, for which she was rewarded with a great deal of reviews. The film was written and directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other famous actors, including Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. The film's first big success was the catalyst for her to appear in The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama in 1985. John Hughes' film, produced by him, is considered to be one of the most acclaimed high-school movies in history. Even though the budget was $1 million, the film's earnings surpassed $50 million. The actress also appeared on various television programs, such as CBS Schoolbreak. This was her first TV appearance. From April 1980 it was an adolescent-oriented show. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid, Hill Street Blues and Chicago Story are some of the other series in where she's been featured. Recent appearances include Little Sister, a film about a super hero where Sheedy is a small cameo. Sheedy won numerous prizes in 2005 for her performances.
