Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cookbook author as well as an Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which began in 2002, and has been aired for 27 seasons until 2020. Ina began her writing career by with nuclear energy policy and budgets to the White House. She initially found her career interesting and stimulating but eventually lost interest and opened a speciality store for food known as Barefoot Contessa. It was a huge success over the course of 18 years until she made the decision to close it. After that, she started her first cookbook. The other cookbooks came out, as magazines too. Meanwhile the Food Network show was also successful. In addition, she sells a variety of items ranging from cooking materials to equipment and storage containers. Ina was never to any cooking institute and hasn't had any experience in a restaurant. She's completely self-taught. She is known as a simple cook and for her entertaining style. Her most well-known recipes include Skillet with Roasted lemon Chicken Mac and cheese, Mac, Beef Bourguignon and cheese with Beatty's Chocolate Cake, and Lemon Bars.
